Our Work is Undone

When we say Undone, we mean it literally and figuratively. It's what happens when holiness breaks you open, and it's also the slow, constant, never-ending work of becoming whole that follows.

Where the name comes from

"Woe is me! For I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts."

- Isaiah 6:5 (KJV)

The Hebrew word damah means to be struck silent - destroyed, brought to nothing in the presence of something infinitely greater. Isaiah was not merely afraid. He was completely unraveled. And then he was touched, commissioned, sent. The undoing and the restoration sit in the same scene - the entire arc of salvation in one passage.

The arc of every story

  1. Unraveled

Every story starts here - a moment or season when the old world broke open. Resistance is part of it, not proof it wasn't real.

  2. Restored

Not a tidy testimony. On the other side of being undone, guests found something they did not expect - and the work of becoming whole began.

  3. Still unfolding

Salvation is not a single lightning strike. Faith has to be chosen again in ordinary, complicated life. The journey continues every day after.

UNDONE is a conversation, not an interview, not a performance. Belief and doubt are on the table - from the pastor as much as the seeker. Vulnerability is the currency. All are welcome on the same road, fallen and still learning, as we search for truth and greater understanding together. See how the conversations work.

Rich Sullivan: A Faith That Finally Made Sense

Rich Sullivan was raised Catholic on Chicago's west side, taught to kneel, be quiet and discouraged from opening a Bible. He walked away from church for years - turned off, as he puts it, by hypocrisy he couldn't square with what he was being told to believe. But God wasn't finish…

Meet the hosts

A pastor and a reluctant seeker, two people at different points on the same road, one that tests belief and doubt equally.

Neither host claims to have arrived. They bring the same honest struggle they ask of every guest - including faith that has to be chosen again.

The Pastor

Mike Bettig

Co-lead pastor in the Southwest Michigan community he grew up in - leading with humility about the places faith still feels hard and is still tested, not certainty theater.

The Reluctant Seeker

Brendon Scott

Media producer on a decades-long search toward Scripture and Christ - genuinely, not performatively, still weighing what to do with what he has seen.

Whatever road you're on,there's a seat for you here.

None of us has it figured out. Neither do we. The work of faith is never finished - and you don't need a tidy ending to belong in this room.

Listener-supported

For the person who believes. For the person who isn't sure. For everyone in between.

UNDONE is independently produced and listener-supported. Every contribution helps keep the show free, especially for listeners still searching, who might never pay for faith-based content.
